Magpie Tale-Songs of The Summer
There are two lyrics
About summer,
One hangs in space,
Obligated by the sun
And the sound of ocean waves,
Obscured under the shades of green cliffs;
The other one is abstract,
Kept alive by spirits
And the bubbles of your dreams,
Deflected from the reality
of conflicts and grieves.
Thoughts linger in minds,
Fish swim in waters,
Pumpkins ripen on vines,
and the direction of the wind matters
Because it defines your beliefs.
The images of the Fall season mark a future
In nature
That spans the gap between the unknown
And the known.
It is late August,
Don't dwell in the bathtub for too long,
Listen to your favorite summer song
Before it is completely gone!

What a lovely poem, and what a great tribute to summer! I am always so impressed with writers and poets that can express themselves in such a lyrical way! thank you for stopping by my post and I am now a follower!
It does linger in my dreams and I do rush outside to enjoy it as it is rapidly moving on.
A beautiful and charming magpie, Jingle. And you are so right - live life, don't dwell :D

very sweet, ji, loved it xx
yeah - who would want to stay in the bath tub when summer is on your front door...
You are so right, time to get out of the tub and embrace summer, lovely magpie.
winter brings on the hot bath
whereas summer brings on swimming outdoors in the sun

Great Jingle...yes we must grab these last days of summer....blessings...bkm
Written like a true lover of summer. I can feel the joy of summer, and the sadness in knowing it fades away into fall.
Ah, the bubbles of your dreams... so fleeting!
Nice Magpie, Jingle!
This really makes me wish we'd had a summer this year instead of crops coming in late while leaves are already turning. Yes, perhaps a nice soak will make me forget the weather is turned upside down. August is finally June but too late to matter.
I love summers and your poem described the most exciting feeling of a nice fresh summer day.... a bright sunny magpie... loved it.
Thanks for visting my blog.
Really lovely poem that bring fresh and bright thoughts of summer. Makes me wish the season lasts just a little longer!
