Poetry And Me In 55 Words

Poetry and me
Sound like my hubby and me:
Via poetry,
I see reality, fantasy, and geometry...
When it's with me,
I feel connected and happy;
When it deserts me, temporarily,
I feel lost and empty.
Poetry and me,
are both independent and inseparable,
Poetry fills my life with energy,
Random derivation? Let it Be!

Totally get what you're saying. The way you feel about poetry is the way I feel about singing

Wonderful, the separation, I too feel this way. Lately, I am finding writing poems, to be harder. I know why, I usually like to be alone, when I gather random bits of ideas and words. My daughter is off from school. The words are harder to sift through~ Thanks for sharing, I so get the way you feel!

Jingle Belle....
Words always roll out of your head often and haphazardly!
You never seem to lose a thing!!
Excellent 55
Keep travelling on your journey.
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End...G

Any muse is a fly-by-night - that's why night is the best time to catch them. Very enjoyable poem.

Good poem.

When the writing is good, the day is good. When the writing is bad, the day just plain sucks!

That you've said in a nicer way.

How could you limit it to only 55 words? lol I think the poetry *does* become an integral part of those who write...and I completely understand about how it feels when the muse seems to be gone! Well said.

awesome, glad to know i'm not the only one the poetry leaves...yeah, it feels like being abandoned!

"Let it be" ... wonderful. I like the poem and these illustrations are particularly attractive. Altogether lovely post, Ji. Thank you.
