Sunday Prompts In 160-As Spring Begins

Born on reed beds,
The ugly duckling
keeps quacking and paddling.
.
Sickness healed,
Pain felt,
She's skilled.
.
As spring begins,
She turns
into a swan, grins.

That's a lovely kind of progress, Jingle! Perhaps we are all ugly ducklings on the way to becoming swans!

I'm always partial to the ugly duckling, myself. It's much more enjoyable to look for the beauty that goes unnoticed. Nice poem!

Lovely image and poem as always! Wishing you all the best for 2011, dear. TY for visiting my blog, while I was on a break. I broke my leg in December and still need physiotherapy, but it's getting better now.

I love those haiku and the pictures you chose to go with them. :D It's been dry here for the past two days and I've been gardening - it's been like Spring in my heart! :)

Thanks for your comment (I think!) The first time I tried to post it went to the wrong post of mine. Was this post about a day in the life of a home school family? By the way, nice post! Blessings.
