Big Tent Poetry & A-Z Challenge In 55 Words

Battle at the baseball game,
The atmosphere is not the same,
Each player has an equal chance to bat,
as the fans outside the field sat,
Assault and battery are not welcome,
Batting and pitching skills are winsome,
1, 2, 3, strike,
the power's stiletto alike,
see the ball fly,
A home run, some cry!

Re: G-man, and fellow friends:

Yeah, I'm in Central America...

Both of my boys played kids baseball, the little one is in 7th grade baseball team now, I watched the games previous years, slowly I learned the rules and, began enjoying the game as a whole...

The city has a Parks and Recreation Center, they organize

Tag Football (September-October),

basket ball (November-February),
Baseball (March-June),

parents/locale college students volunteer, kids have fun doing some physical activities, they charge about $65 each kid/per game season.

They dress like pros, it is fun to watch and take a break from computer.

Thanks for the comments.

Ah Baseball!!! GO YANKEES!!

Good poem, love this line

Assault and battery are not welcome,
Maybe the players need to write that a 100 times.

We know life begins on opening day. Don't know about assault, but you need a battery to play.
