55-When You See Me Wet In The Rain

When you see me wet in the rain,
You know I am traveling
on a one-way train.
You may wonder aloud
what's all the
frowning and the
Groaning and the
Crying and the
Trying all about.
My mind stops functioning
And refuses to take
That unpaved road
As images in my brain
Begin to download.

Very nice -- a lot of meaning in those 55 words!

Nice!

I'll have to try working a future 55 into a poem rather than a story.

My 55 for next week is more prosaic than poetic.

thanks for the comment on the weeds. I have to worry about the weeds in the flower beds. They are a pain.

A one way train, with frowning and groaning. This is not a happy trip at all. And you're soaked. Jingle you got us worried now.

You sit outside as a beautiful flower
Time goes by as you count the hours
You see what is coming big dark clouds
The flash of lightning and the thunder it sounds
But the thing that makes this happen has not yet
It is all about the rain and getting soaking wet

enjoy Jingle and Happy Satyrday to ya(+)
