Pink Saturday In 55 Words

A Pink flower admires her sister Red,
she dreams about being Gold,
she wishes to be Green,
As she grows,
Pink is the only color her body shows,
So Pink knows
Life is NOT as perfect as a rose.
Now she feels good
As soon as she understood
that she is unique in her neighborhood.

Many Flower-Peeps have these thoughts and feelings, also. Hopefully we/they can reach the same conclusion--that each of us IS unique in our very own way, upon our very own path.

Thank you, Jingle..To see my "55" GO HERE

I like your pink poem..especially since it is one of my favorite colors. I am sure "pink" will someday appreciate her color and not wish to be any other. Happy Saturday!

You are a very good with your Jingles. I used to do a little poem writing, but seems my thinking went on the blink. I enjoyed your post.

If red were green,

And green were red,

And yellow were but blue,

Then where would that leave

Happy Pink? Oh, what would that girl do?

I'm glad that red is merely red,

That yellow is yellow, too,

But mostly I am glad that pink is the very finest hue!

Happy Pink Saturday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

How's that? I hit it rigt on the nose, Jingle! ;-)
