*****

The voice of the pencils calls our wandering mind,
Through echoing lands and echoing humans in wind.
The charm of nature is to be shed,
The beauty and laughter of love are to be heard.
Via the sorrow of fights
And the crown of kings,
We see happy, sad, and wild things.
What dreams shall we pursue?
What hope shall we give?
Ask the pencils,
Follow their believes.
No passion bids us wait,
The voice of the pencils is the voice of our fate.

Beautiful poem and there is so much truth in it. A pencil is sharper than a sword.

A thoroughly beautiful poem. Pencils are my absolute passion; I never write with anything but them.

The beauty of this poem is the fact that if you actually listen to the voice of the pencil, you'll realize "the voice of the pencils is the voice of our fate."

The voice of the pencils certainly is the voice of our fate! And the voice of erasers is the voice of our will.

I found a strange attraction as a child to the shaving of pencils, as if I might uncover treasures, secrets, untold tales...
Well done.

The pencils can speak but only through hands,
A grip of description that takes us to lands.
A firmer grasp has it speaking in tongues,
A softer hold plays a song to be sung.
A reason to keep ones point sharp to a tee,
It allows you to speak and a chance to be free.
