Haiku

Hummingbirds flap wings
in rhythm, kissing the flowers,
stirring autumn nights.
.
Shutting her wet eyes,
She lets music of his words
echo through her head.
.
"Past" shall not withhold,
"Tomorrow" is to unfold,
"Now", please hug me tight.

when you are in love, your beloved's words are surely music.

Oh, what an affectionate write... I want a hug, now, too.

I've just noticed our hummingbirds seem to have gone south. Soon I will join them...but not soon enough. Lovely write, my friend.

It's the time of year we want to draw the beloved close. Here we are having our first snow. Lovely haikus.

Very romantic. Hugs cure many things as well as bond together those in love.

Lovely-e-s…especially the middle one, I think, with its shift from hard “t” consonants to the soothing “u”s in “music” and “through” and the “e”s of “echo” and “head” -- such warm form with the cozy content.

Did you make the animated gif? I love that it worked for you. I used to make them all the time!

Love the haiku. Birds, love, hugs - such sweet sentiments combined so well and expressively. Thank you!

This is beautiful. That animated graphic just fits your lovely words perfectly. I'm so sorry but I cannot get to your Alphabe-Thursday link! Your blog will not go back past this post for me. I just wanted you to know I tried very hard to stop by, though.
