There Is Always Another Story (4 Poets Rally Week 43)

There is always another day,
Cloudy or sunny;
There is always another story,
Sad or funny,
Let go of faded dreams,
Never mind silent screams;
Offer yourself a small patch,
Where you can garden;
Have an agenda in sketch,
So that you carry no pardon;
At the darkest hour,
Wait for early birds chirp,
As the sun greets the flower,
Watch the morning dew drip.

I love how positive your poems are. They are simple yet they give off an undeniable image of good vibes.

I was witnessing a feeling of weariness within me after writing a lots of poems on and on in my mother tongue. Once I even thought of stopping this writing totally. But the plain fact is that I am bound to write. Again and again. Reading your poem filled me with fresh hope..

There is always a new line to write,
A new word to speak,
A new thought to hang on to.. :)

Yes Ji, there always another day, and there's always another story.

Short and meaningful.

Sorry for not being a part of rally this time. Busy with exam preparation, you see but then its a family in itself and I couldn't stop myself reading some of the poems.

Have a great day ahead.

Love the optimistic message of this poem.

"Let go of faded dreams,
Never mind silent screams;"

...was my favorite part. Excellent! :D

The Reason You Come said...

Again, another inspiring poem! I'll make sure to let go of faded dreams. They have no use in the present.

And btw, it's so timely that you'll have a meme for short stories. I've recently started writing short stories again. I'm so excited to join! Yay!
