November
Remember
November,
It comes after October
and before December.
.
November's air is cold,
November's turkey crispy and golden,
November's age is 11 month old,
November's garden frosty and forgotten.
.
November is the time
Echoes of wind make haunting sound,
November is the time
Brown leaves hit the ground.
.
November is the time
first snowfall gives its blow,
November is the time
Bare boughs rub to and fro.
.
What I like about November
is the smell of hot tea,
The warmth of thankful notes between you and me,
And the enthusiasm floating in the air cheerfully.

55-Ho Ho Ho
Bells ring,
Angels sing;
Lights dance along
while family and friends gather cross the town;
Stockings hang, red and bright,
Ready 4 treats tonight.
Trees stand tall,
Winking at kids' gift boxes, big and small.
The earth is white with snow,
Ho ho ho,
Time to let go
of 2010
and let magic show
begin!

I Was Pleased 2 See Christmas Light Glow (December Reflections & Awards)
I took a walk in my neighborhood,
And I understood
The story of the little red riding hood,
I obtained a cheerful mood.
.
Geese fly,
vanishing from the sky,
Darkness settles in, veiling the earth low and high,
I smelled homemade apple pie.
.
I ended my walk
and halted my silent self-talk.
The shadow of myself followed me through,
I was pleased to see Christmas light glow.

55-Three Hearts Broken
His fiancé refuses to marry him unless
he becomes a scholar in the U. S.,
He works hard
and comes aboard,
He meets someone smart,
and feel adored.
One is classically traditional,
Another is modernized and practical,
He loves both women,
but can only marry one,
Three hearts broken
as he decides to marry none.

55-What Can You Do To Correct The Wrong?
Under the vast sky,
A girl aged eight
enjoys her apple pie
and feels great.
.
Your bombs fall
And set her house on fire,
She never understands at all
What is your desire.
.
Being the only one survived,
Her spirits are gone;
Her memories are never revived,
What can you do to correct the wrong?
*****
This is a fiction written for G-Man’s Flash Friday 55, it is not inteded to offend anyone or criticize anybody, but to highlight the sad side of wars.

When It Comes To Math
When it comes to math,
Some fear it to death,
Some fall out of breath;
Here is a simple confess:
Math is not something worse
than giving birth…
Math Is cool
If you know the rule;
Math is fun
If you are its fan.
Keep trying,
You can do it without dying…
1+1=2,
Math says something perfectly true.
2+2=4,
You can make a satisfying score.
3+3=6,
Math has some magical tricks.
If you truly understand,
You will love math and feel grand.
*****
When i started blogging one year ago, I truly enjoyed doing Monday Math posts. Glad to give it a try again today.
Today's math problem:
If it takes 12 people 3 days to build 72 meters of fence, how many meters of fence can 15 people build in one day?
Hint:
Compute how many meters of fence each person build each day applying the first 3 numbers, then it is easy to calculate using giving condition!
Pick one:
A: 2
B: 12
C: 20
D: 24
E: 30
Good Luck! I Wonder who can do it?

You Live, You Dream! (4 Potluck Week 12+1)
You live, You dream,
You laugh, You scream.
Everyone dreams of one’s need,
Everyone fears of one’s greed.
All our sorrows and tears
Help us grow stronger over the years.
Beyond that, you can see,
Women dream whatever she be,
And her dreams no one knows,
Dreams that rails on her foes.
All the praises she receives
Will be written in wind, and leaves.
I dream and I am bond with chains,
And I dream that all the pains
Help me learn
And win.
What is life?
A roller coaster ride
That could go extreme.
How to survive?
Hold your steering wheels tight
And do an excellent drive,
No blame game!

A Weird Poem In 55 Words
Yes,
You can worship me,
but,
You need to carry your own identity.
I see,
You cannot please everybody,
I agree,
You certainly will become somebody.
No,
You don't have to fear those foes,
Yet,
You do need to make friends with pros.
Go,
Reach 4 the star,
Follow
Me, while driving your own car.

Magpie #42 In 55 Words-Why Not Enjoy Life's Winter?
Snow falls tumbling down,
The sun gives a frown;
Trees make a cold stare,
As cars pump smoke in the air;
Snow crunches beneath our feet,
As snowmen are built down the street;
Icy wind makes a lonely howl,
The moon remains modest like an owl...
There's only ONE winner,
Why not enjoy life's winter?

They Called Each Other Honey
There once were a sir bear named Funny,
and a lady bear named Bunny,
They got married
without feeling hurried.
They laughed and hopped
until their heartbeats stopped.
Funny loved Bunny,
Bunny cherished Funny.
They called each other Honey,
And they looked absolutely darling.

Dear Friend, Welcome To Jingle Poetry Monday Potluck Week 9, Please feel free to submit any poem, not necessarily related to the theme to our potluck today, have fun!
http://jinglepoetry.blogspot.com/2010/11/poetry-potluck-buildings-landmarks-and.html
The Following is my entry related to the theme: Fortress, Buildings, Monuments! Enjoy!
*****
Mount Mushmore,
Carved to honor the U. S. presidents in Four,
Museums with guarded doors,
Made to display antiques and dinosaurs.
The Great Wall,
Built to fight a painful war,
The shopping mall,
Constructed to host business store.
The petting zoo,
Specialized to farm animals for kids cute,
The public school,
Supported by the government to educate kids, a tool.
I like concrete walls,
I love waterfalls,
I enjoy solid floors,
I fancy small animal print-paws,
I fear cold wars,
I avoid clinched jaws.
Domes, Homes,
They inspire me to write more poems.
Buildings, fortress, and memorial constructions,
They produce consumer productions.

Sunday 160-An Owl Is Wise
An owl is wise,
An owl hoots;
An owl hides
in dark woods.
.
An owl is cute,
An owl is against those who pollute;
Respect an owl,
The way you do to yourself NOW.

Today I Write It Down
The day was hot,
People stayed indoor a lot,
While I was mopping the floor,
I heard a knock at my door.
I looked outside,
It was a boy with a bike.
He looked tired and red,
Smiling nervously, he said:
“Could I interest you an initial 3-month newspaper subscription?
I am raising fund for my college education.”
“How much?”
“$20.”
I made an instant decision,
Paid him in cash to his satisfaction.
The boy was gone,
I was left alone.
Listening to a soft song,
I pictured the PRIDE of the newspaper boy!
Months have gone by,
The impression of the boy refuses to die.
Today I write it down,
Wishing him a bright future on his own.
*****
This is based on my real experience!
I submit this to ABC Wednesday, P is 4 Pride.
This is also Thursday Poets Rally Week 32 Entry.
Enjoy!
Happy November To You all!

Halloween Lights Are On
Cool wind creeps down,
Tree leaves frown,
Halloween lights are on,
Ghosts float all over the town.
.
Far down the street,
Houses smell bloody sweet.
Kids cannot wait
to do their favorite trick-treat.
.
If you dare,
Put on your custom and visit somewhere.
If you care,
Buy enough candies and share.
.
When parents lead their spooky kids here,
Greet them with No fear.
After the knocks at your door die,
Enjoy some bloody pumpkin pie.

What I Write Is What I like
I like girls smart and small,
I like boys brave and tall.
I like babies who don’t squall,
I like kittens that curl up like a ball.
.
I like to walk in a shopping mall,
I like to listen to music in a concert hall.
I like to be as innocent as a doll,
I like to celebrate the season of Fall.
.
Summer is fine with solid green,
The sweetest season is spring,
Fall is perfect, I mean,
Winter is O. K. with silver sheen.
.
What I write
Is what I like,
What I like
Is what I write.

Magpie #37-Mirrors, Reflections!
Waterfall, down it pours,
Force that resembles loss.
Attractions, traveling tours,
Experiences that marks down growth.
.^ ^
Raindrops, tear drops,
Force that enables growing pains.
Sunrises, surprises,
Experiences that show gains.
^ ^
Posts, Poets,
Creativity that sparks fun in loads.
Flowers, garden,
Experiences that inspire children.
^ ^
Mirrors, reflections,
A tool to view life's directions.
Smiles, styles,
Hope to see you happy in piles.

Not All Clouds Drip With Rain
Look, If there is one thing I've learned,
It's That
Learning is observing, My friend!
.
Sunbeams glittering outside my window,
The air is cool,
The whispers of the breeze in the shadow
Make me wonder who are you.
.
Today turns into yesterday tomorrow,
Tears wash away sorrow.
Happiness cannot come without pain,
Not all clouds drip the rain.
.
Like a tiger in a den,
Individual power cannot always win.
Like a chicken popping out a shell,
You need many failures to live well.
.
Life is imperfect,
No path leads you to the perfect.
Believe that the sun will shine,
You can survive and feel divine!
