Extraordinary Wishes (Happy New Year!)

New year is coming,
Novel ideas are dancing;
I have many wishes in mind,
wishes that are extraordinary and kind:
I wish friends honest and cool,
I wish the world peaceful and carrying no blue.
I wish poems creative and fun,
I wish all of your dreams coming true,
I wish all of your lives satisfying and due.
I wish to love and cherish,
Not to diminish and punish.
I wish to encourage more,
Especially to those I genuinely adore.
I wish to focus on what I can do,
to bring more joy and love to all of you.
I wish to make a wish
So that everyone is free and happy like a fish.
I wish to live, love, laugh, and achieve
What I strongly believe.
I wish 4 magic,
I wish nothing tragic.
I wish you and I Being ONE,
and we are blessed by the Divine.

 Happy 2013!

Happy Birthday Lyrics: Tom Lee, Love U For Good!

We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
(Happy Happy Birthday)

(Ooooah) This is your birthday song
(Ooooah) Celebration all night long
(Ooooah) May all your dreams come true
We sing em' together,
Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday, celebration,
Party night, feel the vibrations,
Lighs a-bright, we're feelin' all right,
We're dancin' till the morning light,
Happy birthday, celebration,
Everybody get the temptation,
Once again, this is your night,
And everyone feels right...

We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
(Happy Happy Birthday)
(Ooooah) This is your birthday song
(Ooooah) Celebration all night long
(Ooooah) May all your dreams come true
We sing em' together,
Happy birthday to you!

It's a perfect multiplation,
Feel the vibe, enjoy the fascination,
All your friends are here tonight,
Happy anniversary we hold you tight,
It's a perfect situation,
Hale and hardy, what a combination,
Once again this is your night,
And everyone feels right...

We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
(Happy Birthday)
We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
(Happy Birthday),
Happy birthday we sing to you,
May your dreams come always true (Happy Happy Birthday)
Happy birthday we sing to you,
For ever and ever,
(Happy Birthday),
We sing happy birthday to you,
May all your dreams come true,
(Happy Birthday),
Happy birthday we sing to you,
For ever and ever...

(Ooooah) This is your birthday song
(Ooooah) Celebration all night long
(Ooooah) May all your dreams come true
We sing em' together,
Happy birthday to you!

We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
(Happy Birthday)
We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
(Happy Birthday)
We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
(Happy Happy Birthday, To You)
We sing happy birthday to you,
And may all your dreams come true,
(Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday)

We sing happy birthday to you!

Amy Bardwell (A Fictional Love Story)

He entered the room of my life
where I sat balanced in joy and pain,
And smote the air of my peace with his story
of his wretchedness with his wife.
I love my husband, but had forgotten;
And I fled with this man to find new life,
Fooled by the light of love!
But what is love? Is it only to say
You love, and yield your lips to the man?
Or is love living, till every minor,
Tapestry, lamp and shelf of books
has taken your souls and become your souls?
And so when I felt the urge of uneasiness, I ran
and the table cloth
entangled me, dragged the cups and pitcher
from the Feast of Life to wreck on the floor,
Could I go back to a room of ruins?
New cups and pitches cannot be won ,
and so I sat at a lonely window,
And watched him pass, and smile on his wife,
Whom he returned to, leaving me
To mend my broken goblets!

On Book Night By Eliezer Wiesel (Kristy Self's Reading List)

Quotation from Wekipedia

In 1940, Romania lost the town of Sighet following the Second Vienna Award. In 1944, Wiesel, his family and the rest of the town were placed in one of the two ghettos in Sighet. Wiesel and his family lived in the larger of the two, on Serpent Street.
On May 16, 1944, the Hungarian authorities allowed the German army to deport the Jewish community in Sighet to Auschwitz-Birkenau. While at Auschwitz, his inmate number, "A-7713", was tattooed onto his left arm.[8][9]
Wiesel was separated from his mother and sisters Hilda, Beatrice, and Tzipora. Wiesel's mother and sister Tzipora were presumably killed in the gas chambers upon arrival. Wiesel and his father were sent to the attached work camp Buna, a subcamp of Auschwitz III-Monowitz. He managed to remain with his father for over eight months as they were forced to work under appalling conditions and shuffled among three concentration camps in the closing days of the war.
On January 29, 1945, just a few weeks after the two were marched to Buchenwald, Wiesel's father was beaten[10] by a Nazi as he was suffering from dysentery, starvation, and exhaustion. He was also beaten by other inmates for his food. He was later sent to the crematorium, only weeks before the camp was liberated by the U. S. Third Army on April 11.[11]

A Kaddish or Prayer:

Be his great name blessed forever,
Yea, to all eternity.
.
Be the name of the most Holy One Blessed,
Praised and honored, extolled and glorified,
Adored and exalted supremely...

Winter Fear

Google.com, Angela Jolie

Is it just the season
of cold weather
or is it simply
the sixth sense?
when others' views
obscure a sad knot
that's hard to untie,
when the shifts
of foci
won't enhance
the emotional
appearance,
when raindrops
won't cleasen
although
the days are calm
and the sky
is clouds
free.

A Robin's Poem By Nikki Giovanni

If you plant grain
you get fields of flour;
If you plant seeds,
You get grass
or weeds...
I planted once
and a robin red breast flew
in my window
but a tom cat wouldn't let it
stay!

What The Trapped Face

No water, no electricity,
No gas, no heat;
Down the flooded streets,
Everything awaits.
.
Coldness and hunger stab the place,
Endless tears go unseen,
Proud properties bleed in debris,
Uprooted trees tremble in pain.
.
Ancient anger bubbles like volcano in birth,
Help is sent to where crowded survivors went,
Animal people, unplanned season,
It takes years for the polutted river to recover.

Believe It or Not? Sheng = Peking Duck = China Dragon, Tom =Texas Long Horn =American Ox

Hyde Park Thursday Poets Rally Week 76: October 31-November 7, 2012

Nobody would believe it, right?
The 21 century Christmas is May 22,
We have at least three exceptional
figures born on this date, Thomas, Sheng, etc.
But everyone follows the traditional Christmas,
God decides to honor that too.
.
So, you won't believe that Sheng is a lord,
because he was born May 22, 1993,
Then, Jesus makes a decision to convince all,
by offering the family
another boy who was born December 25, 1997,
Still, nobody thinks that the Woos would qualify.
.
Then, something happened on December 25, 2011,
My goodness, at least some folks begin to wonder,
why? How? It Can't be?!
.
Now for Tom, you are the Texas Long Horn,
You rock! because the month of December
is easy to remember,
It's the 12th full moon,
12=10+2, you are perfect
or even better than October babies,
One Dime, 12 pennies, two nickels, ...
.
Be proud of yourself, Tom,
You are a cowboy,
The year of Ox, which coincides with bull or cow,
Ox is in fox, box, cox, equinox,
it rhymes with socks, wax, max, docks,
which leads to ox=ocks...October is in it...
So do pockets, sockets, Ocean, rockets, locks,
mocking bird, hogs, frogs, ...
.
in Oxygen, oxy=oxi, thus ox connects to osh=otch...
Then, we have ox relates to Gosh, hush=hoosh, Josh,
Mush, Mushroom, Push, Brush, Bush, Crush,
Squash, Rush, Ush,...
tom the Texas Long horn and The Ox is so much.

Mon-Goose

Mongoose, Google.com

Money is not all,
Tolerance and kindness work
life needs encouragements.
.
Snakes and rats run,
when they see Indian Mon-goose,
Mon-goose, Asian specie.

There's Mongoose bikes,
Which is a brand name, of course,
Not an animal goose.

In 55 Words-Imagination Has Wings

Remains hidden,
Until dug out all of a sudden,
Like an engine,
It needs fuel to run.
Until then, more than one can imagine,
It sparks fun.
It cannot be measured by length,
it's something in depth.
It could be giant and gentle,
It's tricky to handle.
Imagination has wings,
Let it evoke magical things.

Happy October Family Time at NU, Dear Sheng The Kenwood!

Crows, you black Wu’Ya bird,
Hold up your chin,
let the party begin:
Jiving, wiggling, and running some more,
Soaking the energy to continue to crow.
.
Don't quit because your peers are colorful,
Stop shaking from behind the curtain,
Face the music instead of
holding your horses,
Life can be won without everything hidden.
.
Black feathered crows,
You have a family,
a background,
and an official name,
Don't give up hope to claim your fame!

Loyalty (A short story)

Nilly is an alligator.

Adam is a monkey.

They enjoyed talking to each other when they met.

It was time for them to bid goodbye.

They were at the bank of a river near a willow tree.

"I wish we could be friends for good." Said Adam.

"We will be friends, but we cannot be together. You must live on the shore, I must live in the river, we watch over one another though." Signed Nilly, "And you can be sure that I always enjoy your company, Adam."

And they parted.

Years later, a trader caught Nilly, placed him in a cage and took him home.

Adam happened to be nearby and he recognized Nilly. He followed the trader home
and rescued Nilly while the trader was taking a shower.

Once back to the bank where Adam and Nilly used to meet and part, Adam helped Nilly into the water and cried.

Although they would not see each other again, they know for sure, they will never forget each other.

The Bigger Speck By Maryida Horn

Google.com

Thursday Short Story Slam Week 29: Dramas and Freedom

When your heart is feeling low,
You begin to think about your shortcomings,
And under what you have to show
For your daily efforts and longings,
At this moment you are feeling very lonely,
And usually think of others prosperity,
Never think that you are an only;
Think of less fortunes surviving deeper poverty,
you'll find that the most poverty-stricken
are dreamers with determination and self-consciousness
who never of this world sicken
but continue to strive for a bigger speck.
