Alphabe-Thursday /Short Story Slam in 55 Words.

He's gone, along with the warship, to carry out his duty in Navy in a troubled land.

Unspeakable grief unfolds, flipping its wings like startled bats.

She stands there, not being aware of upcoming affair.

After a year, he brings home a baby whose mother is not her.

Waves of the sea shiver!

Life's unfair!

Sunday Prompts-Love Is Like A River

Love is like a river,

One dreams of it forever;

Wheat dreams of being French bread,

Muses dream of being magpie tales that are widely read,

Love is like a river,

A kiss does really matter;

Rains make love swell,

Getting wet will make passion dwell.

A Picnic At Poets Rally Week 50 (Peace of Patience)

The world is small
when people stand tall;
The world is big
If anger/wars are the ones to dig;
The world is a family
If everyone strives for harmony;
The world is beautiful
If members are respectful;
As challenges/issues continue threading life’s elegance,
WE must spread hope, faith, and peace of patience!

Sunday 160-Untitled

The iron tower in Paris
bends yet not to fall,
Light clips
& girdles it,
As the Sun enters
with its blond touches,
the tower tilts its head
to join the affair.

I Practice Better Living!

P

Pacing back and forth,
I practice better living;
Recycling myself,
I’m living off of the grids;
Aches, Acts, Reactions,
Few come to satisfactions;
Biting fingernails,
I run, ignoring dead snails,
LOVE will keep the course sailing!

Free Write Friday-My Turn To Confess As A Fox

“A fox is tricky!”
Animals in the forest turned picky.
Hearing it, I feel fuzzy,
I wish to kick those who are bossy.
.
Tigers prowl about their den,
A rooster woos a charming chicken,
A girl squeezes her teddy bear’s ear,
Trooping along the river are teenage deer.
.
I’m a fix who holds my vexations,
I depend on my sixth sense to detect relations,
Stop pulling my tail,
Remove your unfitting pail.
.
Do you know the grains of dust in my dinning table?
Is any one of them worth your trouble?
My master is invisible and forceful,
You’re got to be smart and careful!

Magpie Tale #77

Snowflake and giggling chips,
Golden hair dips,
Jokes baked,
Coke cans naked.
.
Hungry eyes,
Sexy pies,
Ghosts pancakes,
Earthquake body shakes.
.
Ex-lovers’ wine,
Angel and beast soup,
Someone screamed outside the door
While I noticed a bloody hand on the floor.

Monkey Is Eight (Humor in Short Story Slam Week 7)

Monkey is eight,
Already, he has gained too much weight.
“No more coconut juice,
Water is the only drink you can choose.”
Mom says.
“No more banana pies,
Cut off those French fries.”
Dad cries.
“What about a story party near a beach,
and a safari in a jungle?”
Monkey gives his mumble.
Under a coconut tree,
Where space is open and free,
A family of three
can hardly agree.
They have NO fun
Until they spy a hunter with a gun,
“Run!”
Without hesitation, three monkeys start to run
Under the baking sun…As the hunter is nowhere to be seen,
Three monkeys begin to grin…
“Truce” wins over “truth”,
Monkey smiles, showing a missing tooth.
