Haiku 3-5-3 Form:
A bull’s-eye,
A knot on a tie,
Make thoughts fly.
Haiku 5-7-5 form
Diet does do wonders,
To stay charming and fit,
Drink lots of water.
I try to impress when I write,
But things aren’t always right,
Which topic to choose,
What term to use,
They often give me fright.
A Poem
In my mind there’s an art gallery,
Where nothing is dull,
Especially when George Washington on a shiny parquetry
turns his eyes on you.
.
You may see six-legged dogs,
You may find four-eyed frogs,
Be aware of pink sexy hogs,
Don’t get hit by flying logs.
.
Wash your face
before you enter a chess race.
Don’t yawn
when things go quiet before dawn.
.
Erase memories from your brain,
Digest bitter truth,
Leave behind everything that’s absurd,
Exit without missing a tooth.

Interesting set of poems; great rhymes and sparkles of humor.
wow, so many treats to enjoy!
i love the limerick, it's funny & i can really relate to it. :)
I can sympathize with your limerick! Sometimes I have so much spinning around in my head that I just have to write it all out - no matter how disorganized - so that I can think.
All the works all in one go! It is amazing! Great presentation all spiced up!

Admire you!! So many forms all together is amazing!!
Well done! Enjoyed reading the various styles of poems. ... pink sexy hogs... hehehe.
What fun! I enjoyed them.
Happy to be here..so beautiful.. each one of them..
Wow! A feast of words..loved them and how you wrote haikus, to a limerick, to a poem...
Nicely done!
Same here - I can also relate to your limerick. Good stuff! :)
Beautiful sparkling thoughts drift through the haiku forms and then, as a finale, seem to explode into the dimensions of a poetic gallery! Beautiful!
Thanks for enjoying my murex shell drawing!
Wonderful poems, so creative!

You are a versatile writer.. and I like all the forms specially the limerick. Have to try that form.
That art gallery sure looks scary.. very imaginative place.
My thoughts are flying all over the place after reading your savory selection!

Here's a weird wonder for you--a 4 lb dog with a head the size of a grapefruit! She's better tonight, but I am still freaking out. I do not like the desert right now.
Lol, yes I will wash my face !
Wow very talented to write all in one post limericks, haiku and poems. This is amazing and I am laughing so hard on some of them. Job well done thanks

Once upon a time, I knew the difference between a haiku, limerick, and poem. But now my mind stays in fog on forgotten English lessons from my past. Thanks for sharing!
Very nicely done, as always! I put you on my The Versatile Blogger Award list. If you wish to accept it, just see the related blog post and follow the same steps that I did. Blessings, Terri

Thanks for visiting my seashell painting!!
awesome combination of brilliant writing
Loved it wholly :)
A wonderful collection of poems. Of course, being a limerick addict, I was especially partial to your limerick. :)
I'd love to see you at my weekly Limerick-Offs. A new one has just begun. :)
ha very nice...really like your verse...the mind as an art gallery is a fine picture and enjoyed the play within the verse...
Thanks for calling on my page to read 'Geese'. You have a medley of verse forms on here today; they hint at a writer in a bright state of mind. Well done!
Harry
quite the collection of poems there all of them unique and well written.
What a wonderful post!
I loved your great entertainment factor here!
Wow!
Thanks for sharing this week.
A+
Good work on the haikus, and nice try with the limerick — you've almost got it. Just try counting out the number of beats per line (look at some samples by Lear and others) and then you really will impress!
