The show has been shut down till further notice,
as you might have guessed,
The hosts have gone to winter vacation,
Performers on tip-toe are bidding for a bonus pay,
The assistants have started to type their memoirs,
Fans who refuse to leave
are given opportunity to
reserve their seats for tomorrow,
A lonely stage sits in sharp winds,
whining silently life poetry
that nobody will hear,
No need to investigate,
The show is closed for now
until further notice.

A Magpie Tale
It’s late November,
Ice knits along the cold ground,
A bandage on summer’s wounds,
A red sofa is deserted on street,
in sheer isolation,
Refusing to give up its value,
The red seat a squint of anticipation,
I touch the soft cushion,
Knowing that
It must have equipped with sweating passion,
This is the moment when nobody seems to care,
As the chair sits there,
attracting aliens’ curious eyes from everywhere.

The Hourglass Life (Change, Short Story Slam Week 15)
While I’m withheld on the top part,
I feel intense and strong,
As I fall down to the lower part,
I go inspired and hope for a restart.
.
Grains of sand I’m considered as,
Don’t you think I’m grain of children,
Feeling timid for changes,
Yet, I must accept the ups and downs life arranges.
.
Randomly,
We encounter and squeeze to be the first,
You and me,
We are forced to visit the virtue of friendships, wisdom, and honesty.

A Magpie Tale
Look at me,
Am I real?
Where am I?
Why shall you stop by?
.
Come join me,
A Big deal,
No need to be shy,
since we must be reminded our freedom pie.
.
The air is screaming with death,
Please wheel me through this place,
Chair by chair,
until my rebirth.

Flash Friday 55: Winter Thoughts
Days in winter grow shorter,
Thoughts in me become sportier,
I write yet fail
to feel:
How the Moon with her flickering hope
hanging on bare cliff like a rope,
How November dusk blows cold kisses
to lonely gray houses,
and how I rake wet leaves in my hard drive
to see life between us.
