Creative Fire

Flinging out of the furnace
R the flames
That leap forward,
With No sound,
The intense desire
Of the fire
Bursts like a hungry hound,
Searching and wolfing down preys
On the hunting ground.
Creative fire
Has NO patience,
Carries NO weight.
Creative fire,
Starts from sparks of flint,
Burns from the deepest part
Of your heart
In thousand of degree
And sets you free
In unexpected way!

I think this is my favorite of your poems so far! Wonderful read! Inspiring too........my fire is more like embers these days, that need a lot of blowing on to make spark up.......but I Remember When, hee hee!

Yes, wonderful and cute kitty!

"Burns from the deepest part
Of your heart". Yes it does. And "... sets you free
In unexpected way(s)!"
A good example of how poetry can express what prose fails to include!

Intensely creative. Glad I read it.

That is awesome. Know that I dislike the slang of that word "Aewsome" so I try not to use it. I mean to say that your poem rings so true. Creative fire burns white hot and not when you actually expect it because it is serendipitious. You nailed it here.

Thanks for this, I needed some inspiration.

I just needed this kind of encouragement right now, Jingle!! WOW!! You write the perfect words for my mood! YOU ROCK!!!

This poem is just too good! Creative sparks flying all over the place now! Need to get hold of them, before my head catches fire.. :)

Oh yeah, I like this poem. It has a wonderful flow!

My favourite line is "had NO patience." Love and Light, Sender

Jen said...

I could use a flame like that...to set me free...

I love the way you captured the essence of that creative spark. Very poignant and yes, that fire has no patience. It comes when it comes and we better be prepared with our sword(pen)and shield (paper) :) We must nurture it or else the flame will die out. Something to be cherished.

Thanks so much for reading my humble stuff and inviting me to the Potluck! I am definitely joining!

Creativity is like a fire and it just has to be set free or it can destroy you!
