New York Times Headline: Bird-Watchers Revel in Unusual Spike in Snowy Owl Sightings:
Here I share a piece from a poetess titled: I Try to Image The New Moon.
The air, a washed pale blue,
The boat, powered by two oars,
The lopsidedness as you swung
left and right.
The lopsidedness as you swung
left and right.
I try to imagine the new moon.
Before breakfast, my son made
seafood pasta, and somewhere
between the taste of scallops
& fusilli, the air was hinged
with a door & a gorgeous double
rainbow, against the blue.
Somewhere, a bird, seafood pasta, and somewhere
between the taste of scallops
& fusilli, the air was hinged
with a door & a gorgeous double
rainbow, against the blue.
a different sky, a boat
of unconditional love.
My Response in Haiku:
Is that all there is?
Everything is possible!
Smiles, no tiptoe steps.

what a summary.
Charming tip-toe poem.
I liked that, no tip-toe steps; walk firmly and proudly into the future. That's what I got out of it anyway. :-) Thanks for sharing. Blessings.

oh the joy of a double rainbow feeling and comfort of amazing food... the company of love and now poetry.... I really enjoyed your poem!

Everything is possible!
Great positive thinking!
Can't agree with you, Cad. I found it impossible to find Magpie#101 here.
I enjoyed your poetry selection and your haiku. Thank you.
Kind of dances doesn't it!
You should listen to Summer Rain by Whitesnake :-)

a very sweet poem.. ty
I do like a nice snowy owl or two myself.
There was strong balance in the boat but I love the unconditional love part.
And such a great Haiku.
Thanks for playing in this weeks Theme Thursday - Balance. I hope to see you there next week and cannot wait to see what you do with the next prompt.
God bless.
