Born On Mars (Sunday Prompts)

Born on Mars,
A fresh friend 2 many stars,
Burning flames in fields of rebirth,
Bare feet on frozen earth,
Serenity shocks us all
by making friend with anguish,
Parallel lines toss a ball
to startle a permeable wish,
After all,
Tomorrow is another day,
Stormy action is a wrong call,
Woo Moon Maiden
from whom embrace and grace
are the repeating themes
that are often unspoken.

Both the picture and the words have a dream like quality. Curiously relaxing and arousing at the same time.

serenity shocks us all...love this line.dulled as we are with the daily dose of ugly and mundane, serenity can be a revitalising shock.

Embrace and Grace. That should be a T-shirt, or a restaurant. Perfect!

Rain, this is good reading but very perplexing to me. Just plain (I need a word, similar to slippery or far out). About when I think I am in sync with your poem things shift.
..
BTW, did you hear that a pretty large meteorite coming from Mars landed on earth last July. Pieces of the meteor have been found just now in January in Morocco and are now the world's most expensive stones! :)

I think the same line caught all of us as we read your beautiful poem.

'Serenity shocks us all
by making friend with anguish,'

It was ethereal and reminded me of a fairy story I once read. I loved it. Be blessed!

I love how the poem goes so well with the picture, while the picture does not seem real. It is such a peaceful picture though which is why Stormy action is a wrong call. Oh if life were so peaceful.

Thanks so much for sharing this with us for this weeks Theme Thursday Storm. It went well with the theme.

God bless.
